Sandblasting / Painting Technician

Job Description

Preparing surfaces by cleaning them using sandblasting techniques to remove rust, dirt, corrosion, and other surface defects.
Applying appropriate coatings to metal, concrete, or wooden surfaces, ensures that the layers are even and the quality meets the specifications.
Selecting suitable materials for sandblasting and painting based on the type of surface and project requirements.
Ensuring that all surfaces are properly treated before applying paint to ensure good adhesion and protection.
Monitoring environmental conditions such as temperature and humidity to ensure optimal paint application.
Using sandblasting and painting equipment properly and safely.
Conducting periodic inspections of coated surfaces to ensure their quality and absence of defects or cracks.
Performing regular cleaning and maintenance of sandblasting and painting equipment.
Adhering to occupational health and safety procedures, wearing personal protective equipment such as gloves, protective glasses, respirators, and others.
Collaborating with other teams to ensure integration with other activities on site.
Providing periodic reports to management on work progress and site challenges
