Job Description
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures;
- Initiate and organize OHS training of faculty, staff;
- Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issues of non-conformity;
- Oversee installations, maintenance and waste management of laboratory facilities and waste processing (collection, storage, treatment and disposal);
- Record and investigate safety related incidents to determine causes and carry out improvements;
- Practical knowhow of technical procurement matters;
- Oversee workplace repair, installations and any other work that could harm employees’ safety;
- Coordinate with procurement, F&E and other relevant LUMS department;
- Other tasks assigned by the Dean;
