Aramco Certified Safety Officer

Main Responsibilities:

• Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures;
• Initiate and organize OHS training of faculty, staff;
• Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issues of non-conformity;
• Oversee installations, maintenance and waste management of laboratory facilities and waste processing (collection, storage, treatment and disposal);
• Record and investigate safety related incidents to determine causes and carry out improvements;
• Practical knowhow of technical procurement matters;
• Oversee workplace repair, installations and any other work that could harm employees’ safety;
• Coordinate with procurement, F&E and other relevant LUMS department;
• Other tasks assigned by the Dean;
